Equipment Conditions:
l Air intake grille opened and secured (refer to
TM 9-2350-287-10).
NOTE
Crown on road may cause vehicle
to pull away from center of road.
Road test vehicle on flat surface.
A. Check for disconnected or loose steering con-
trol linkage and components.
Are all steering control linkage and components
secure?
Repair or replace linkage or any connecting
pins and bolts that maybe missing or broken
(para 12-2). Verify problem is solved.
B. Check for improperly adjusted steering con-
trol linkage by placing steering wheel in neu-
tral position (center spoke vertical), check to
see that steering control lever is also in the
neutral position with pointer aligned with cen-
ter position marker, and lever parallel with
centerline of vehicle.
Is steering control linkage properly adjusted?
Adjust steering control linkage (para 12-
2). Verify problem is solved.
