With the aid of an assistant, check to see if thebrake shaft leading out of the bulkhead is turn-ing when the brake pedal is pushed in.Are all driver’s compartment linkages andcomponents secure, and does the brake shaft turnwhen brake pedal is pushed in?Repair or replace brake pedal and linkage orany connecting pins and botts that may bemissing or broken (para 10-4).
