TM 9-2350-287-20-12-19 TROUBLESHOOTING CHART-CONTINUED1.TRACK AND SUSPENSION.The vehicle track and suspension system consists of the tracks, final drives, sprockets, universal joints,roadwheels, roadwheel arms, idler wheels, idler hubs, shock absorbers and torsion bars. The relationship ofthese components is shown in the diagram below. When the track receives power from the transmission throughthe universal joints, final drives, and sprockets, the tracks begin to revolve around the roadwheels, over the idlerwheels and back to the sprockets, This propels the vehicle either forward or backward, depending on theselected transmission gear.2-223
