Drive carefully. Take it easy until youcan operate with skill.l Protect your hearing. Due to high-intensity noise, hearingprotection is required while operating vehicle.l If a track is thrown while vehicle is moving, do not apply thebrake; rather, allow vehicle to coast to a halt.l Do not move vehicle until all latches and doors are securedin closed position and all equipment is properly stowed.CAUTIONl Never leave vehicle unattended while engine is running.l This vehicle does not have an automatic transmission. Itmust be shifted manually.l To prevent overheating and damage to transmission andengine, observe the following precautions:-When starting from a halt, begin with transmission selectorlever in first gear.- Do not hold vehicle on an incline with transmission in gear.- Prior to shutting down engine, set hand throttle at 1000-1200 rpm for three to five minutes or until coolanttemperature measures 185OF or lower. Then run at idle forone to three minutes.Change 12-81
