INITIAL SETUP: Maintenance Level Unit Tools and Special Tools General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0926 00, Item 65) Materials/Parts Locknut (20) Lockwasher (8) Tie straps (as required) Personnel Required Unit Mechanic References See your -10 TM 3-6680-316-10 Equipment Condition Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Battery ground strap disconnected (WP 0337 00) REMOVAL 1. Disconnect circuit lead 537A (1) and circuit lead 537B (2) from upper and lower heaters (3) and (4) on right side of vehicle. 2. Loosen clamps (5) and (6). Remove upper and lower outlet hoses (7) and (8) from upper and lower heater (3) and (4). 3. Loosen clamps (9) and (10). Remove upper and lower inlet hoses (11) and (12) from upper and lower heaters (3) and (4). 4. Remove eight screws (13), 16 washers (14), eight locknuts (15), upper and lower heater (3) and (4) from bracket (16). Discard locknuts. 0795 00-1
