REPLACE M3 NBC HEATERS AND CONTROLLERS (M113A3 ONLY) — Continued

Disconnect lead 537B (1) from driver’s controller (2).
10. Disconnect two leads (3) from driver’s controller (2) and driver’s heater (4).
11. Remove screw (5), ground lead terminal (6), and lockwasher (7) from hull.
12. Remove four screws (8), seven washers (9), ground lead terminal (6), lockwasher (10), four lockwashers (11), four nuts
(12), and driver’s controller (2) from bracket (13). Discard lockwashers.
13. If damaged, remove two screws (14), lockwashers (15), washers (16), and bracket (13). Discard lockwashers.
14. Cut straps (17) and separate two leads from adjacent hose (18). Discard straps.
15. Loosen clamps (19) and remove driver’s station outlet hose (20) and driver’s station inlet hose (21) from driver’s
heater (4).
16. Remove four screws (22), three ground lead terminals (23), four washers (24), four lockwashers (25), one ground lead
terminal (23), two lockwashers (26), four nuts (27) and driver’s heater (4) from welded mount. Discard lockwashers.
