REMOVAL
WARNING
Contaminated filters are hazardous to personnel. Use precautions when handling filters (see
FM 3–5). Dispose of filters using trained chemical environment personnel.
1.
Remove quick-disconnect fittings of hoses for driver’s station (1), commander’s station (2), and smoke operator’s station
(3) from air purifier (4).
2.
Release latch (5) on frame (6) and remove air purifier (4).
3.
Disconnect cable connector and ground cable assembly (7) from air purifier (4).
4.
Loosen screw (8) from shock mount (9). Remove slotted ground lead from screw.
5.
Remove five screws (10), 10 washers (11), five locknuts (12), and air purifier frame (6) from mounts (13).
Discard locknuts.
