REPLACE SMOKE GENERATOR FUEL LINES AND GUARDS (M1059A3 ONLY) —

Remove four screws (1) and washers (3) holding electrical line guards (4) in place.
7.
Cover two fuel lines with fuel line guards (5). Use four screws (1), new lockwashers (2) and washers (3). Apply primer
to screw heads.
8.
Install two fuel line guards (6) over fuel lines on top of hull. Secure fuel line guards (6) with three screws (7), washers
(8) and new lockwashers (9). TIGHTEN SCREWS TO 96-120 LB-IN (11-14 N m) TORQUE.
FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS
1.
Install smoke generator assembly on bracket (WP 0755 00).
2.
Install inboard armor shield (WP 0771 00).
3.
Connect battery ground strap (WP 0337 00).
4.
Set circuit breaker CB1 to ON (TM 3-1040-283-10).
