REPLACE IDLER WHEEL ARM ASSEMBLY — Continued

INSTALLATION
1.
Apply light coat of sealing compound on threads of relief valve (4) and grease fitting (3).
NOTE
Install grease fitting on the forward side of idler arm.
2.
Install relief valve (4) and grease fitting (3) in idler arm (2).
3.
Place track tension adjuster (5) on shaft on rear of idler arm (2). Align idler arm with holes on hull. Secure with eight
screws (1). Tighten screws to 315-325 lb-ft (427-441 N.m) torque.
4.
Fill idler arm (2) with grease (WP 0155 00).
FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS
1.
Connect track tension adjuster to idler arm (WP 0419 00).
2.
Install idler wheel hub (WP 0418 00).
3.
Install idler wheel (WP 0425 00).
4.
Connect track and adjust tension (see your -10).
5.
Install track shroud and covers (WP 0438 00).
6.
Unblock carrier (see your -10).
7.
Road test carrier to check that idler wheel arm is installed right (WP 0155 00).
