Remove two cotter pins (1), nuts (2), and shouldered washers (3) from shock absorber (4). Discard cotter pins.
5.
Position shock absorber tool on hull mounting bracket (1). Hit tool with heavy hammer to loosen upper end of shock
absorber (2).
