Install new inner seal (5) on road wheel support arm pin (3).NOTEExercise new shock absorber to the fully extended position and move shock absorber back andforth several times until resistance can be felt throughout the entire length of the stroke.Make sure shock absorber is installed with large end of bearings installed first.2. Install shock absorber (2), new outer seal (4), and shouldered washer (6) on support arm pin (3).3. Install shock absorber (2) and shouldered washer (6) on hull bracket (7).4. Secure shock absorber (2) with two nuts (8).5. Tighten two nuts (8) to 60-80 lb-ft (81-108 N.m.) torque.6. Secure two nuts (8) with two new cotter pins (9). If hole through mount and notches in nut (8) do not aline, tighten nutenough to make holes aline, then insert new cotter pins (9).0435 00-4
