INITIAL SETUP: Maintenance Level Unit Tools and Special Tools General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0926 00, Item 65) Materials/Parts Cotter pin Personnel Required Unit Mechanic References See your -10 Equipment Condition Pintle removed from carrier (WP 0433 00) Pintle lock open (see your -10) DISASSEMBLY 1. Remove lube fitting (1) from pin (2). 2. Remove two retaining rings (3) from pin (2). 3. Remove pin (2) from lock (4) and hook (5). 4. Remove lube fitting (6) from pin (7). 5. Remove two retaining rings (8) from pin (7). 6. Remove pin (7) from latch (9) and lock (4). 7. Remove latch (9) and spring (10) from lock (4). 8. Remove screw (11) and chain (12) from hook (5). 0434 00-1
