REPLACE INSTRUMENT PANEL MOUNTS AND GROUND LEAD — Continued

Tip instrument panel forward and remove two screws (1), ground lead (2), WAIT indicator ground lead (26) (glow plug
system only), two lockwashers (3), and resilient mounts (4) from instrument panel. Discard lockwashers.
4.
Remove nut (5), washer (6), lockwasher (7), ground lead (8), ground lead (9), screw (10), washer (11), and long strut
(12) from hull mounts. Discard lockwasher.
5.
Remove nut (13), washers (14), screw (15), washer (16), and strut (17) from hull mount.
INSTALLATION
1.
Place strut (17) on hull mount. Secure with screw (15), washer (16), washer (14), and nut (13). Do not tighten nut.
2.
Place strut (12) on hull mount. Secure with screw (10), washer (11), new lockwasher (7), ground lead (9), ground lead
(8), washer (6), and nut (5). Do not tighten nut.
3.
Install ground lead (2), WAIT indicator ground lead (26) (glow plug system only), and two new lockwashers (3) on two
screws (1). Insert screws thru instrument panel and secure with two resilient mounts (4).
4.
Secure ground lead (2), WAIT indicator ground lead (26) (glow plug system only), and resilient mount (4) to upper
support bracket (18) with screw (19) and new lockwasher (20).
5.
Secure other resilient mount (4) to bracket (18) with screw (19) and new lockwasher (20).
6.
Install two washers (21) and new resilient mounts (22) on screws (23), and position through instrument panel. Install two
mounts (24) on screws and insert screws through struts (12) and (17). Secure with two new locknuts (25). Tighten nuts
(5) and (13).
FOLLOW THROUGH STEPS
1.
Connect battery ground strap (WP 0337 00), (WP 0338 00), or (WP 0339 00).
