FUEL TANKS: REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION (CONTINUED) O P Q R Hold nut (38) and retract channel (39) fully. Push upper fuel tank Install retaining strap (27) using two screws (25) and flat to rear of vehicle into hull access. washers (26) as required for proper fit. Hold nut (38) and wedge channel (39) against upper fuel tank, Tighten turnbuckle (24). handtight. Install metal tube (21) to adapter (22) and elbow (23). Install Torque nut (38) to 10 lb-ft (13.5 N.m). filler neck assembly (TM 9-2350-267-20). S T U V W Position and aline upper fuel tank (12). Connect hose (19) to adapters (20). NOTE Install and tighten clamps (18). Apply sealing compound (item 46, Appx B) to re- taining strap screws before installation. TA57366 4-19 Change 2 TM 9-2350-267-34
