Slippage may occur before full load is applied. This Place projectile (6) in tube (7). should only occur until rotating band encounters locking shoe. If projectile rotating band goes under Depress and lock two handles (8). locking shoe, test should be considered a failure. Attach line gage (9) to cable (10) using quick-release pin (11). G Remove line gage (9) from projectile (6) H Attach line gage (9) to projectile (6). Remove quick-release pin (11) and remove line gage (9) from cable (10). Apply 400 lb of pressure, as measured by line gage (9), by turn- I ing winch (12). Raise both handles (8) and remove projectile from tube (7). T A 3 1 2 5 8 7
