All data on pages 5-7 and 5-8 deleted ENGINE MOUNT RELEASE BAR: REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION REMOVAL A B C D E Remove engine compartment access cover (p 9-25). Turn engine mount release bar (1) counterclockwise mount jaws (2). to open Remove and discard two cotter pins (3) from universal joint (4). Full engine mount release bar (1) and bushing (5) into driver’s compartment. Remove universal joint (4) from engine mount tie rod (6). INSTALLATION A B C D E Install universal joint (4) on engine mount tie rod (6) and secure with new cotter pin (3). Insert bushing (5) and engine mount release bar (1) through driver’s compartment bulkhead. Secure engine mount release bar (1) to universal joint (4) with new cotter pin (3). Turn engine mount release bar (1) clockwise to close mount jaws (2). Install engine compartment access cover (p 9-25). TA312766 5.8.1/(5-8.2 blank) Change 1 TM 9-2350-267-20
