Adjust voltage regulator to 27.9 to 28.1 volts (page 9-38). 2. Repeat charging system operational check (page 3-64.4). 3. After slowly raising engine rpms in charge system operational check, does voltage climb to 32 to 34 volts and suddenly drop to battery voltage? GO TO PAGE 3-64.12 1. Verify no faults found.
