TM 9-2350-247-20-3REPLACE M66 RING MOUNT KIT — Continued 0514 00REMOVAL1. Remove machine gun mount (WP 0513 00) or (WP 0515 00).2. Remove two cotter pins (1), pins (2), and backrest (3) from brackets (4) on ring mount (5). Discard cotter pins.3. Remove two setscrews (6), lock wire (7), and cartridge deflector (8) from deflector support (9). Separate lock wire (7)from deflector (8) and discard lock wire.4. Remove two lock nuts (10), washers (11), screws (12), and support (9) from gun mount (13). Discard lock nuts.5. Remove straps (14) from ammo box holders (15).CAUTIONRing mount weighs 314 lb (143 kg). Make sure lifting device is strong enough.6. Secure suitable lifting device to ring mount (5).0514 00-2
