INITIAL SETUP: Maintenance Level Unit Tools and Special Tools General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0541 00, Item 57) Materials/Parts Sealing Compound (WP 0542 00, Item 33) Lock washer (3) Strap Personnel Required Unit Mechanic References See your -10 Equipment Condition Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Both battery negative leads disconnected (WP 0292 00) Front access cover removed (WP 0391 00) REMOVAL 1. Disconnect circuit 402 lead from fuel pump lead (7). 2. Remove screw (4), lock washer (5), washer (6), and capacitor (8) from bulkhead. Discard lock washer. 3. Remove strap (13) from hose (14) and hose (1). Discard strap. 4. Remove hose (1) and elbow (2) from fuel pump (10). 5. Remove hose (14), elbow (3), and adapter (9) from fuel pump (10). 6. Remove two screws (12) and lock washers (11) from fuel pump (10). Remove fuel pump from carrier. Discard lock washers. 0430 00-1
