Damage to the wire rope, winch components, or carrier will result.Ensure winch drum clutch is disengaged.4. With brake mechanism at room temperature, adjust screw (1) so that brake drum (2) just begins to rotate clockwise whena torque of 180-204 lb-in (20-23 N•m) is applied to screw (3).NOTEIf brake drum will not rotate with applied torque of 180-204 lb-in (20-23 N•m), do Steps 5 - 7.
