Unlock drum (see your -10)
ADJUSTMENT
NOTE
Drum should turn when wire rope is pulled from winch by hand. It should stop when pulling
stops. Adjust drum shoe if it is too tight or too loose.
1.
If wire rope cannot be pulled from winch by hand, loosen screw (1) until drum moves when rope is pulled.
2.
If drum keeps turning when pulling stops, tighten screw (1) until drum stops when pulling stops.
FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS
1.
Connect battery negative lead (WP 0292 00).
2.
Lock drum (see your -10).
