REPLACE FINAL DRIVE SHAFTS (M548A3) -- Continued

INSTALLATION
1.
Insert yoke (1) in final drive (2).
2.
Install spider (3) and spider (4) on final drive shaft (5) with eight washers (6) and new screws (7).
3.
Torque screws (7) to 86-94 ft-lb (117-127 Nm). Loosen screws and torque again to 86-94 lb-ft (117-127 Nm).
4.
Install spider (4) with final drive shaft (5) on yoke (8) with four washers (9) and new screws (10).
5.
Torque screws (10) to 86-94 ft-lb (117-127 Nm). Loosen screws and torque again to 86-94 lb-ft (117-127 Nm).
6.
Install spider (3) to yoke (1) with four washers (11) and new screws (12).
7.
Torque screws (12) to 86-94 ft-lb (117-127 Nm). Loosen screws and torque again to 86-94 lb-ft (117-127 Nm).
FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS
1.
Install cab floor plates (WP 0395 00).
