REPLACE TRANSFER GEARCASE OIL LEVEL GAUGE ROD AND FILLER NECK

REMOVAL
1.
Remove gauge rod (1) from filler neck (2).
2.
Remove screw (3), clamp (4), washer (5), and nut (6) from angle bracket (7) and filler neck (2).
3.
Remove filler neck (2) from elbow (8).
4.
Remove elbow (8), nut (9), washer (10), and preformed packing (11) from transfer gearcase. Discard preformed packing.
5.
Remove nut (12), washer (13), and screw (14) from angle bracket (7) and fuel filter bracket. Remove angle bracket.
