INSPECTION-ACCEPTANCE AND REJECTION CRITERIA
1.
Inspect engine coolant temperature switch for cracks, dents, damaged threads, and loose, broken, or missing terminals.
Replace switch that shows any of these defects.
INSTALLATION
WARNING
Energized systems and equipment can burn you. If MASTER SWITCH is ON, electrical system
and equipment will be energized. Make sure MASTER SWITCH is OFF when you work on
electrical systems or equipment.
1.
Clean engine coolant temperature transmitter (1) threads and apply sealing compound to threads.
2.
Install engine coolant temperature transmitter (1) on thermostat housing (2).
3.
Connect circuit 33 lead (3) to engine coolant temperature transmitter (1).
