1. Remove circuit 28 plug (1) from fuel tank jack (2).
2. Turn MASTER SWITCH ON.
3. Does fuel indicator read full?
YES
NO

1. Repair circuit 28 lead to fuel tank
sender (WP 0294 00).
2. Verify no faults found.
Y
1. Install jumper wire between circuit 28 plug and ground.
2. Does fuel quantity gauge fail to read empty?
YES
NO
YN
1. Replace fuel quantity sending unit
(WP 0149 00 or WP 0150 00).
2. Verify no faults found.
