l General mechanic’s tool kit (Item 24,
Appendix I)
Materials/Parts:
l Sealing compound (item 58, Appendix D)
l Lockwasher (6) (Item 164, Appendix H)
Equipment Conditions:
l Vehicle parked on level ground (refer to
TM 9-2350-287-10).
l Conveyor assembly removed para 17-6).
l Rod ends and latch removed (para 17-16).
l Conveyor toggle clamp and tube assembly
removed (para 17-18).
l Conveyor rear dead-end section assembly
removed (para 17-8).
l Idler sprocket assembly removed (para 17-15).

REMOVAL
NOTE
During removal, make sure
hinges remain attached to
conveyor center section.
1.
Remove six nuts (6), Iockwashers
(5), washers (4), and screws (2)
securing two hinge halves (3) to
takeup-end section assembly (1).
Discard Iockwashers.
