Install light switch (21), four new Iockwashers (20), and four screws (19) on instrument panel (3). Install three spacers (hidden), handles (23), and screws (22) on light switch (21). Install two indicators (18) and brackets (37), four new Iockwashers (36), and four nuts (35) on instrument panel (3). Install five switch assemblies (24) and 10 washers (27), new Iockwashers (26), and screws (25) on instrument panel (3). Install four light brackets (17) and eight new Iockwashers (16) and screws (15) on instrument panel (3). Install four lenses (13) and preformed packings (14) on front of instrument panel (3). INSTALLATION Install mounting support (7) on vehicle. Install ground strap (8), four new Iockwashers (11), and four screws (12) on instrument panel (3). Install instrument panel (3) on mounting support (7). Connect light switch connector (9) and 17 instrument panel connectors (10) to instrument panel (3). Fasten six stud fasteners (4) to instrument panel (3) by turning clockwise. Connect speedometer cable (5) and flexible tachometer cable (6) to instrument panel (3). Install portable instrument panel (2) on instrument panel (3) bracket. Connect electrical harness (1) to hull-mounted bracket. FOLLOW-ON MAINTENANCE: l Connect battery ground cables (para 7-41). 7-27
