• General mechanic’s tool kit (Item 24,
• Vehicle parked on level ground (refer to
Appendix I)
TM 9-2350-287-10).
• Air intake grille opened and secured (refer to
Materials/Parts:
TM 9-2350-287-10).
• Lockwasher (Item 163, Appendix H)
• Engine compartment access cover removed
• Lockwasher (Item 177, Appendix H)
(para 15-16).

REMOVAL
1.
Loosen clamp (2), and remove turbocharger oil hose (3) and clamp (2) from bottom of turbocharger (1).
2.
Disconnect turbocharger oil hose (5) from turbocharger (1).
3.
Remove screw (9), washer (8), Iockwasher (6), nut (4), clamp (7), and hose (5) from bracket (10). Discard
lockwasher.
