Discardgasket.b.CLEANING AND INSPECTIONWARNINGDrycleaning solvent P-D-680 is toxic and flammable. Always wear protective gogglesand gloves, and use only in a well-ventilated ares. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, andclothes, and DO NOT use near open flame or excessive heat.1.Clean all parts with drycleaning solvent.2.Inspect parts for wear, deformities, or breaks. Replace defective parts.WARNINGCompressed air used for cleaning purposes will not exceed 30 psi (207 kPa). Use onlywith chip guarding and personal protective equipment (goggles/shield, gloves, etc.).3.Blow out engine-driven fuel pump cavity port (2) with compressed air.c.INSTALLATIONInstall valve (3), spring (4), pin (5), new gasket(6), and plug (7) in engine-driven fuel pump (1).FOLLOW-ON MAINTENANCE:• Install engine-driven fuel pump (para 4-7).4-17
