POWERPACK REPLACEMENT (continued).b.INSTALLATION1.Position engine exhaust pipe (88) and lower fueltank return-from-engine hose (4) against hull.2.Attach powerpack lifting sling to four powerpack lifting eyes (86) and hoist, and take up slack.WARNING·Personnel must stand clear during lifting operations. A swinging or shifting loadcan cause severe injury to personnel.·Do not walk under powerpack while it is being installed in vehicle. Failure to followthis warning may result in severe injury or death.CAUTION·When installing powerpack, be careful of hoses, fittings, and linkages on driver'scompartment wall. Failure to heed this warning may result in damage to equipment.·Watch all sides of powerpack while it is being installed. Have one person observefrom driver's compartment through engine compartment access cover to make sureair intake duct is not forced into fuel tank, damaging intake duct and fuel tank.NOTEMake sure two transmission lowertrunnion mount inserts are installed intrunnion mounts.3.Install powerpack (87) in vehicle, making surelower trunnion mount insert alignment ring (90) inright transmission trunnion mount (89) seatsproperly in powerpack (87).4.Remove powerpac k lifting sling from fourpowerpack lifting eyes (86) and hoist.Change 1 3-9
