(I) ENGINE OIL PRESSURE GAGE FAILS TO
OPERATE WITH ENGINE RUNNING. All other
gages operate properly (continued).

B. 3. Insert a grounded jumper wire into gage.
4. Turn MASTER switch ON (refer to TM 9-
2350-287-10).
5. Observe gage on instrument panel.
6. Turn MASTER switch OFF (refer to TM 9-
2350-287-10).
Does gage indicate maximum pressure?
Replace engine oil pressure gage (para 7-
6). Veril problem is solved.
C. 1. Reconnect wire 36 to engine oil pressure
gage.
2. Open engine intake grille (refer to TM 9-
2350-287-10).
3. Remove 12 screws and Iockwashers,
and the engine compartment access cover
from the drivers compartment wall (para
15-16). Discard Iockwashers.
4. Remove wire 36 from engine oil pressure
transmitter.
5. Insert a grounded jumper wire into wire
onto wire 36.
6. Turn MASTER switch ON (refer to TM 9-
2350-287-10).
7. Observe gage on instrument panel.
8. Turn MASTER switch OFF (refer toTM 9-
2350-287-10).
Does gage indicate maximum pressure?
