l Vehicle parked on level ground (refer to

l Final drive sprocket and hub removed
(para 11-11).
l Universal joint and flange removed (para 9-3).

REMOVAL
Remove screw (1), Iockwasher (2), and clamp (3) from final
drive assembly (4). Discard Iockwasher.
Unscrew vent tube hexnut connector (5) and remove vent tube
(6) from final drive assembly (4).
