To prevent injury to personnel and damageto equipment, do not block or restrict heater vent.l Carbon monoxide is a colorless, odorless, deadly, poisonousgas that, when breathed, deprives the body of oxygen andcauses suffocation. Breathing carbon monoxide producesheadache, dizziness, loss of muscle control, drowsiness,and coma. Permanent brain damage or death can result fromexposure. Do not operate heater or engine of vehicle in anenclosed area unless area is adequately ventilated.Starting1.Turn vehicle MASTER switch to ON.2.Move HEAT SELECT switch (1) to LOW.3.If heater does not start within 4 minutes, move HEAT SELECT switch to OFF for 15minutes. The start attempt may be continued for an additional 4 minutes.4.If heater does not start after a second try, again move HEAT SELECT switch to OFF andnotify Unit maintenance.Change 12-187
