When starting your vehicleor slave-starting another vehicle, makesure APU GENerator switch is set to OFF.Slave-starting another vehicle with thefunctioning vehicle’s main engine on andbeing revved can cause damage to itscharging system. To prevent this, havethe main engine at idle (600 rpm) or turnedto OFF.NOTEYou may start your vehicle’s main engine to increase powergeneration.
