TM 9-2350-277-34 REPLACE LOCKED-IN STUDS (M577A3 ONLY) — Continued 0117 00 NOTE Installation of key-locked stud is similar to installation of stud with serrated lockring. Make sure fabricated pipe or tubing bears on keys. Drive straight down. Avoid breaking keys. NOTE Do not drive upper edge of lockring below upper edge of serrated part of stud. Drive straight down. 8. Use a hammer to drive keys or lockring down to secure stud. 9. Drive keys flush with mount surface. Table 1.
