INITIAL SETUP: Maintenance Level Unit Tools and Special Tools General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0926 00, Item 65) Materials/Parts Lockwasher (12) Personnel Required Unit Mechanic References See your -10 TM 3-1040-283-10 Equipment Condition Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Ramp lowered (see your -10) Circuit breaker CB1 OFF (TM 3-1040-283-10) Battery ground strap disconnected (WP 0337 00) REMOVAL WARNING Fuel and fog oil can burn and could poison you. Read warnings at front of this manual. WARNING Before you do any maintenance, discharge all capacitors to ground or electrical shock could injure personnel. 1. Disconnect two fog oil hoses (1) from two quick disconnect fittings (2). Tag hoses. 2. Install safety caps (3) on hoses (1) and dust caps (4) on fittings (2). 3. Disconnect two fog oil hoses (5) from two strainers (6). 4. Remove strainers (6) from fog oil pump assembly (7). 5. Disconnect cable assembly (8) from fog oil pump cable assembly (9). 0763 00-1
