TM 9-2350-277-20-5 INSTALL ARMOR KIT (M113A3 ONLY) — Continued 0748 00 24. Remove two protective plugs (11) from front center mounting holes. 25. Install armor plate (12) on front center of carrier with two screws (13) and washers (14). 26. Remove seven protective plugs (15) from lower front center mounting holes. 27. Remove 12 screws (16), washers (17) and two towing eyes (18) from hull. Install two spacer plates (19) and towing eyes to hull with 12 screws and washers. 28. Install armor plate (20) on lower front center of carrier with seven screws (21) and fourteen washers (22). 29. Remove four protective plugs (23) from mounting holes on right front of carrier. 30. Connect extension harness (24) to smoke grenade launcher harness (25) and push through hole (26) in plate (27). 31. Install right front armor plate (27) on hull with four screws (28) and washers (29). 0748 00-6
