TM 9-2350-277-20-5 INSTALL ARMOR KIT (M113A3 ONLY) — Continued 0748 00 NOTE Backing plate (25) is used with kit 57K0467. 18. Install trim vane hinge (20) to right front armor plate (21) with two screws (22), lockwashers (23), washers (24) and backing plate (25). NOTE If installing kit 57K0429, do Step 19. 19. Install bracket (26) to plate (21) with four washers (27), lockwashers (28), and screws (29). 20. Remove five protective plugs (1) from left front mounting holes. 21. Connect extension harness (2) to smoke grenade launcher harness (3) and push through hole (4) in left front armor plate (5). 22. Install left front armor plate (5) on carrier with four screws (6) and washers (7). 23. Install armor access cover (8) with screw (9) and washer (10). 0748 00-5
