REMOVAL
1.
Remove two locknuts (1), washers (2), blocks (3), clips (4), screws (5), and blackout curtain (6) from driver’s
compartment opening. Discard locknuts.
2.
Remove rod (7) from curtain (6).
3.
Remove six locknuts (8), twelve washers (9), six screws (10), and frame (11) from bulkhead and sponson. Discard
locknuts.
4.
Remove locknut (12), two washers (13), screw (14), and grommet (15) from frame (11). Discard grommet and locknut.
5.
If damaged, remove two fasteners (16) from driver’s compartment rear bulkhead.
6.
Remove two studs (17) from lower frame and traverse beam in driver’s compartment.
7.
If needed, remove four buttons (18) and sockets (19) from curtain (6).
