Do not apply sealant beyond small end of externaltapered threads.2. Install plug (11), plug (8), and new packings (3) in ports 1 and 4 of fuel filter (4).NOTEFlareless (compression) fittings are used on the fuel lines. When these fittings are first installed,a sleeve is crimped on the tube or hose end. Consequently, when tubes or hoses are replaced,new fitting sleeves are also required.3. Install two elbows (9) or (2) and new packings (3) in ports 2 and 3 of fuel filter (4).4. Install fuel filter (4) on sponson and secure with two screws (7), new lockwashers (6), and washers (5).0688 00-5
