INITIAL SETUP: Maintenance Level Unit Tools and Special Tools General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0926 00, Item 65) Materials/Parts Locknut (2) Seal Personnel Required Unit Mechanic References See your -10 Equipment Condition Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) DISASSEMBLY 1. Remove locknut (1), lock (2), key (3), washers (4), and spacer (5) from lock handle (6). Discard locknut. 2. Remove lock handle (6) and four washers (7) from shaft (8). 3. Remove preformed packing (9) from shaft (8). Discard preformed packing. 0483 00-1
