Press seals into place.3. Install two new seals (1) and two new seals (2) on center door.4. Place two spacers (6) and hinges (7)(8) on hull top plate. Secure with four washers (9) and screws (10). TIGHTENSCREWS TO 60-65 LB-FT (81-88 N m) TORQUE.5. Align door (4) with hinges (7)(8). Install two spacers (11) and shield (12).6. Apply light coat of grease to each spring (13). Install two springs in shield (12) for left door section. Install six springsin shield for right door section.7. Place door (4) in vertical position. Install spacer(s) (14) and bracket (15). Secure with two washers (16) and screws (17).TIGHTEN SCREWS TO 60-65 LB-FT (81-88 N m) TORQUE.FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS1. Install mortar hatch exterior catch (WP 0480 00).2. Install mortar hatch interior release mechanism (WP 0481 00).3. Close cover. Check that mortar hatch door is properly installed.4. Start engine (see your -10).5. Raise and lock ramp (see your -10).6.
