(H) Release parking brake and let engine run at idle.

Watch both tracks. Have helper assist. If there is no track tension, adjustment is correct.
WARNING
If steering wheel is turned while engine is running at 1000 rpm or greater, the carrier will pivot
and personnel could be killed or equipment damaged.
4.
(H) Place transmission controller in PV position.
5.
(H) Turn steering wheel left and right at idle speed.
6.
Watch both tracks. Have helper assist. There will be some change in track tension, but carrier will not move.
7.
(H) Place transmission controller in SL position.
8.
(H) With steering wheel in center position, increase engine speed to 1,000 rpm.
NOTE
If there is any change in track tension or if there is any hydrostatic noise from the transmission
at any engine speed, the steering unit needs adjustment.
9.
Watch both tracks. Have helper assist. There must be no change in track tension or transmission sound.
WARNING
If steering wheel is turned while engine is running at 1000 rpm or greater, the carrier will pivot

10. (H) Slowly increase engine speed to 2,800 rpm.
NOTE
If there is any change in track tension or if there is any hydrostatic noise from the transmission
at any engine speed, the steering unit needs adjustment.
11. Watch both tracks. Have helper assist. There must be no change in track tension or transmission sound.
