REPLACE/REPAIR DISTRIBUTION BOX (M981A3 ONLY) — Continued

24. Remove nut (1) and washer (2). Disconnect circuit breaker CB3 lead (3) from bus bar (4) in rear cover.
25. Remove nut (5) and washer (6). Disconnect circuit breaker CB2 lead (7) and circuit breaker CB5 lead (8) from bus bar
(4) in rear cover.
26. Remove nut (9), washer (10), and lockwasher (11). Disconnect semiconductor lead (12) from block E2 (13) in rear
cover. Discard lockwasher.
27. Remove nut (14), washer (15), nut (16), and washer (17). Disconnect bus (18) from bus bar (4) and circuit breaker CB1
(19) in rear cover.
28. Remove six locknuts (20), twelve washers (21), (22), and six screws (23) from circuit breakers CB2, CB3, and CB5 (24)
in rear cover. Discard locknuts.
29. Pull circuit breakers CB2, CB3, and CB5 (24) from rear cover.
30. Remove two screws (25) and washers (26) from block E1 (27) in rear cover.
31. Lift block E1 (27) from rear cover and separate insulator (28).
32. Remove nut (29), washer (30), and lockwasher (31), if installed, and pull bolt (32) from back of block E1 (27). Discard
lockwasher.
33. Remove two bolts (33) and washers (34) from bus bar (4).
34. Lift bus bar (4) from rear cover.
35. Remove two screws (35), lockwashers (36), and washers (37) located on back of rear cover. Discard lockwashers.
36. Remove two screws (38), lockwashers (39), and washers (40) from back of rear cover. discard lockwashers.
37. Separate two blocks (41) and (42) from rear cover.
