WARNING
Battery posts and cables touched by metal
objects can short circuit and burn you or
injure you. Use caution when you work
with tools or other metal objects. Do not
wear jewelry when you work on electrical
system. Electrical current can burn you.
a. Remove battery ground lead before you start
task (WP 0338 00), (WP 0339 00),
(WP 0340 00), (WP 0345 00).
b. Check battery posts and cables.
Any leaks,
loose,
damaged,
cracked,
broken, or
missing battery
or hardware.
NOTE
Location of batteries and connection of
battery leads varies by model. Models
M1064A3 and M981A3 have two ground
(negative leads that need to be
disconnected when performing any
maintenance. All other models have one
ground (negative) lead to be disconnected.
