Make sure locking pin is installed in valveactuator of engine extinguisher cylinder bottle no. 1 andinstall locking pin in valve at or of engine extinguishercylinder bottle no. 2.REMOVALNOTEABCDENote location and routing of installed sensing elementbefore removal from engine compartment. Install newsensing element in the same location using same routing.open louvered engine compartment access door.Disconnect connector of sensing element (1) from elbow coupling (2). Capelbow coupling.Disconnect connector of sensing element (1) from straight coupling (3).cap straight coupling.To remove sensing element (1) from eight mounting and clip assemblies(4), release quarter-turn fasteners (5) and open clip assembly. Removesensing element (1) with attached rubber bushings (6).To remove eight mounting and clip assemblies (4), remove from each: onescrew (7) and one lockwasher (8). Discard lockwashers.
