STARTING MAIN ENGINE - Continued
NOTE
Use following procedure for starting engine in normal
temperature climates (+32oF). Refer to cold weather
starting procedures when temperature is below 0oF, or
if the engine will not start in moderately cold climates.
5. Set vehicle brake by pressing on service brake pedal and pulling out and
down on BRAKE lock handle. Brake will be set when handle is released
in this position.
6. Shift transmission selector lever (2) to N (neutral), and make sure it
locks into position.
