Discardpacking and release valve.CLEAN, INSPECT, AND REPAIRWARNINGFire resistanthydraulic(FRH) fluid may containTricresyl Phosphate which,if taken internally, can pro-duce paralysis. Hydraulicfluid may be absorbedthrough the skin. Wear long sleeves,gloves, goggles, and face shield. If FRHgets in eyes, wash them immediately andget medical aid immediately. If FRH getson your skin, thoroughly wash with soapand water. Wash hands thoroughly priorto eating or smoking.12. Flush all internal oil passages with hydrau-lic fluid.13.14.15.16.Check cylinder bores, valve ball and slidingvalve seats, ram sleeves, and retainers.Remove burrs, grooves, and scratches.Replace parts that have deep grooves andscratches or are worn.Check threaded parts. Remove burrs. Replaceparts that have stripped threads.Check parts shown in figure that have refer-ence letters.Check the parts dimensions with the chartto determine replacement.
