TM 9-2350-247-20-3 REPLACE BATTERY BOX HEAT EXCHANGER/HOSES/FITTINGS — Continued 0476 00 8. Remove valve (1) from coolant pump (2). 9. Disconnect hose (3) from nipple (4). Remove nipple from coolant valve (5). 10. Remove clamp (6) from hose (3). Disconnect hose from adapter (7). 11. Remove adapter (7) from coolant pump (2). 12. Remove lock nut (8), screw (9), and clamp (10) from clamp (11). Discard lock nut. INSTALLATION NOTE If coolant valve (12), coolant valve (5), nipple (13), elbow (14), nipple (15), and elbow (16) are removed, drain carrier cooling system (WP 0213 00) or (WP 0214 00). NOTE Apply a light coat of sealing compound to outer tapered thread fittings before installation. 1. If removed, install nipple (15) in oil cooler housing. 2. If removed, install elbow (16) on nipple (15). 3. If removed, install coolant valve (5) on elbow (16). 4. Install nipple (4) in coolant valve (5). 5. Install adapter (7) in coolant pump (2). 6. Secure hose (3) and clamp (10) to clamp (11) with screw (9) and new lock nut (8). 7. Connect hose (3) to nipple (4). 0476 00-2
