Engine stopped (see your -10)
Carrier blocked (see your -10)
Batteries removed (WP 0290 00 or WP 0293 00)
Top left access grille removed (see your -10 or
WP 0390 00)
REMOVAL
1.
Turn coolant valve (1) and coolant valve (2) off.
NOTE
Cap or cover lines to prevent fluid leaks.
2.
Remove two lock nuts (3), screws (4), and three clamps (5) that secure hose (6) to engine oil filler tube and battery box.
Discard lock nuts.
3.
Disconnect hose (6) from nipple (7). Remove nipple from coolant valve (1).
4.
Disconnect hose (6) from nipple (8). Remove nipple from coolant heater (9).
5.
Disconnect hose (10) from elbow (11). Remove elbow from coolant heater (9).
6.
Remove clamp (12) and hose (10) from heat exchanger (13).
7.
Remove two clamps (14) and hose (15) from
heat exchanger
(13) and valve (16). Remove heat exchanger from battery
box.
